APKALA is a small handmade business created, made, and run by one person. It is rooted in thoughtful design, meaningful spaces, and the little details that shape our everyday lives.
The candles are hand poured in small batches and are meant to become part of everyday moments, whether you are getting ready in the morning, winding down at night, working, creating, gathering with others, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself.
I believe the things we surround ourselves with can influence how a space feels and how we experience it. Scent, art, texture, light, and handmade objects can bring warmth, personality, comfort, and meaning into even the simplest spaces.
APKALA began while I was studying interior architecture in college, where my interest in design, atmosphere, and the relationship between people and their surroundings continued to grow. Making candles became a way for me to combine creativity, design, and the feeling of creating something meaningful by hand.
From the beginning, APKALA has been guided by sustainability, intentional living, and connection. These values continue to shape how each piece is designed, made, and shared.
